Stein’s Coding Adventures

About

Stein Norheim
Uppsala, Sweden

So, who am I? Well, I’m working as a product developer in Stockholm, Sweden. In office, we mainly work with the .NET platform, even though I try also to keep myself reasonably up-to-date with other technologies.

I was active in the demo scene on PC in the early 90′s and also one of the developers of Pinball Illusions PC. I’m definitely going to write some articles about how lots of enthusiasm somehow can compensate for lacking experience, and all the things we did back then. Anyhow, after that I studied Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering in Linköping. During my studies, I advanced to the world finals of the IOI and the ACM ICPC and have since 2000 helped arranging and creating the problem-set for the Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest.

Besides working and being a computer geek, I rehearse and perform music, currently together with Allmänna Sången. I also spend as much time as I can with my lovely girlfriend Ebba.
